1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Improv! app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our application.

2. Description of the service

Improv! is a mobile application designed for students and teachers of improvisational theatre. It allows users to:

  • Create and manage lists of improv themes
  • Track scores from improv matches
  • Access educational resources on improvisation
  • Discover associations and events related to improv

3. Registration and account

To access certain features of the app, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
  • Keep your password confidential
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. User content

By posting content on Improv! (themes, association descriptions, events, etc.), you:

  • Retain full ownership of your content
  • Grant Improv! a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content within the scope of our service
  • Confirm that you have the right to share this content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party

5. User conduct

By using Improv!, you agree not to:

  • Post illegal, offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Impersonate any individual or entity
  • Use the app to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to bypass the app’s security measures

6. Intellectual property

Improv!, its logo, and all content created by our team are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute these materials without our permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The Improv! app is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will operate without interruption or error. We are not liable for any indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the app.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms or if your conduct causes harm to other users or to our service. You may terminate your account at any time using the “Delete my account” function in the app’s settings.

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication in the app. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute related to these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

11. Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA)

If you download or use Improv! via the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which you can view at:
